International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO) is marked every May 17 around the world to call for respect for lesbians, gay, bisexual and trans people worldwide.
It marks the date that homosexuality was removed from the International Classification of Diseases of the World Health Organisation on May 17 1992.
Salix Homes is supporting the day by visibly flying the rainbow flag from its Head Office on Peel Cross Road, in Salford.
