Salix Homes supports Gas Safety Week

Salix Homes pledges its support to Gas Safety Week (19-25 September) – a week raising awareness of gas safety and the importance of taking care of your gas appliances.

We’re committed to keeping you and your family safe from the hazards of the home. We undertake a programme of gas servicing every year to make sure all our homes remain gas safe and a reminder to allow our contactors access to our properties.

Badly fitted and poorly serviced appliances can cause gas leaks, fires, explosions as well as carbon monoxide poisoning. We all need to be switched onto the dangers, so we also need your help to stay gas safe.

• Help us keep you and your loved ones safe by ensuring you let us in first time for your annual gas service.
• If you smell gas in your home don’t forget to call the National Gas Emergency Service immediately on 0800 111 999.
