Salix Homes strikes gold

We have struck gold after being awarded a prestigious accolade.

The team has been awarded the Gold Standard in the Investors in People award, in recognition of the way Salix Homes develops, supports and motivates its employees.

We were commended by judges for our clear vision, effective team working and strong staff training programmes to encourage personal development.

Lee Sugden, our chief executive, said: “Achieving the Gold Standard is a tremendous achievement for Salix Homes, particularly within the first year of us being a stand-alone housing association.

“We are extremely proud of this accolade and we look forward to building on the solid foundation it has set within our organisation.

The award comes following a rigorous assessment process by Investors in People – a framework which sets the standard for people management. The Gold Standard is the highest level of recognition which organisations can achieve and is only given to those that are able to demonstrate a degree of excellence in the way they develop and support their staff.
