‘Lockdown Transformation’ winner is crowned as part of Love Your Neighbourhood Week

Love Your Neighbourhood Week, which is in its second year, encourages the people of Salford to show their love for where they live.

This year the annual week has been held in a digital format due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, with all of the activities hosted on Salix Home’s website and Facebook page.

As part of the week’s celebrations, Salix hosted a Lockdown Transformation competition on Facebook to inspire followers to share what they have been up to in their homes and gardens in lockdown.

After a lot deliberation, Sam Gorst was crowned the winner with hervery own garden transformation. Sam spent eight weeks turning hergarden into her very own relaxing area to enjoy complete with handmade furniture created from wooden pallets.

Sam has won a £50 Tesco voucher. Well done Sam!
