Getting involved
For customers with valuable insights but limited time availability, there are opportunities to participate on an ad-hoc basis. Your input on service delivery, neighbourhood issues, policies, and procedures is highly valued.
Salix Homes sometimes uses Focus Groups, a small group of our customers, to get their perspective on a particular area of our service and provide us with valuable insights in how we can best deliver our services and support to our customers.
How much time is involved? Around 2-3 hours per session.
Do you want to have your say? Our customers views are important in helping us learn and deliver the best possible service. You can support us to improve how services are delivered by participating in either paper or online surveys, such as our Customer Satisfaction Survey.
The surveys are usually short and easy to complete, taking up no longer than around 10 minutes of your time.
How much time is involved? On average no longer than 10 minutes, per survey.
At Salix Homes we always strive to do our best but sometimes we don’t get things quite right – and we want to be open and honest with our customers when things go wrong. We are very much committed to learning from our mistake to make sure we do better moving forward.
When something has gone well or our staff have really helped you out, we would love to know and pass on the compliment to the team or staff member. Compliments let us know when we’re doing things right and help us to keep delivering a great service.

From time to time, we ask for customers’ views online, by email or through our website and social media channels.
For example, each year, we encourage customers to vote for their ‘Springboard Hero’, from some of the projects Salix Homes has funded over the past 12 months, through our Springboard community grants scheme. You choose the winner, who receives an extra cash donation towards their work.
We also ask your opinion on things like our website pages, to help us keep improving things.
