Our Executive Management Team manage the day-to-day running of Salix Homes, and ensure delivery of plans on behalf of the Board.

How we’re regulated

As a Registered Provider (RP) of social housing we are regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH).

The RSH sets out their expectations of all providers in the Regulatory Standards. Every year, we assess our activities to make sure that we are meeting these standards.

In August 2024, following our Regulatory Inspection, the RSH confirmed that Salix Homes had retained its G1 V2 grading.  In addition, it was also confirmed that we have achieved a C1 grading for our compliance against the updated Consumer Standards.

Salix Homes has also adopted the NHF Code of Governance 2020. Each year, the Board check compliance against the Code.

Openness & Transparency

We are committed to being open and transparent in all that we do.

The Board and all of our colleagues follow the NHF Code of Conduct 2022.  Everyone is expected to declare any conflicts or interests in line with our policies. All declarations of interest are reported to the Board and are held on our Public Register, which is available to view on request by emailing governance@salixhomes.co.uk

Wherever possible, we will seek to respond to all requests for information. If you would like to see the personal information or data we hold about you, we will respond to Subject Access Requests (SARs). We will also respond to “Access to Information” requests. Where we cannot provide the information we will explain why.
